Today we are unboxing the most hyped watch that came from Seiko this year, the people's 5 GMT.
Based on the legendary SKX007, but in the new 5KX case without the screw in crown and with only 100m of water resistance.
The 5 GMT comes in 3 colors, SSK001 - BLACK, SSK003 - BLUE and SSK005 ORANGE.
The watch is powered by a new Seiko movement called 4R34, which adds a GMT hand to the regular 4R35.
It is currently one of the cheapest GMT watches you can get, but more importantly, the third party version of this movement NH34 will be available for other brands, meaning we'll see an influx of many many GMT watches from microbrands that will be more affordable than the Swiss powered versions!!
THAT is the importance of this watch!!
As usual, stay tuned for the full review!!
