For those looking for help estimating a cabinet project, the video explains how to estimate how much wood you need, but for the cost, check with your local hardwood dealer on pricing. Generally I estimate projects based on $100 - 200 per sheet of plywood (depending on species and grade) and anywhere from $4 - 14 per board food of lumber, depending on species and size. For this one my $628 estimate included:
$150 - 3/4 Plywood
$120 - 1/4 Plywood
$130 - Hardwood (rift sawn white oak)
$138 - Hardware (hinges and door pulls)
$75 - Finish (stain and top coat)
$15 - Miscellaneous (screws, glue, sand paper, rags, etc.)
