In this episode of OH8STN Ham Radio, we will be operating a portable ham radio station sending email with ham radio, an the Icom IC-705 and Microsoft Surface Go
We will be QRP Portable on solar power, sending out Winlink Wednesday Net check-ins, without internet access.
We also show how practical the IC-705 is when used wirelessly from a hammock.

Operating Winlink with an HF radio can be challenging. For this reason we utilize the weekly Winlink Wednesday nets, to get some low stress training in, before the roof starts caving in around us.
