Record Changer has been serviced. All old hardened original lubricants removed, completely cleaned, and lubed with 100% synthetic lubricant. Then reassembled.
I do this same process with each Record Changer I sell. Since it is completely mechanical, Idler Wheel Driven changers take some “repetitive training” to cycle and sync correctly, each and every time without pause.
The more these players are used after a complete overhaul, the better they run continually thereafter.
Very few Idler wheel driven record changers will cycle automatically or right away after they have been completely serviced. Less than one week of daily use will cure any issues for years of fun!
