Serving STAC Metadata with PostgreSQL using PgSTAC

David Bitner from Development Seed gives an introduction to pgSTAC, https://stac-utils.github.io/pgstac/pgstac/, an open-source project. This project assists with the storage of STAC data, i.e. spatiotemporal assets, and is being used in the Microsoft Planetary Computer project. pgSTAC makes heavy use of Postgres’ json capabilities and is working at scale.
