Severn Valley Railway Spring Steam Gala 2024.
Despite new build 6880 ‘Betton Grange’ not being ready in time for the gala, the chance to get newly painted LMS Stanier mogul 13268 and my first time seeing a Terrier in steam was too good to miss.
Visiting engines this year were LSBCR Terrier 72 ‘Fenchurch’ from the Bluebell Railway, LH&JC 29 from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and GWR pannier tank 1369 from the South Devon Railway. The home fleet would consist of 4930 ‘Hagley Hall’, 75069, 7812 ‘Erlestoke Manor’, 7714 and 21C127 ‘Taw Valley’.
Filming took place on the Thursday, Friday and Sunday with a bit of help from @LiamsLocos who operated my second camera around Bewdley tunnel area and @crunchynutsteamfilms5043 who took the second camera to Oldbury viaduct.
