Having revived their 'Winter Steam Gala' over the last couple of years, the Severn Valley Railway's January event has proven quite popular with enthusiasts with very little provided in the way of events at this time of year.
The line show cases it's home fleet during this event, with this year seeing the return to service of the ever popular 14xx Auto Tank 1450. With the loco stiff not fully signed off into traffic, it was paired with Pannier Tank 7714 for the duration of the event. The rest of the operational home fleet was also in action.

A cold spell has hit the UK this weekend, so there were some lovely frosty scenes early on in the day. With the cold in mind, the decision was made to make the most of the steam heated trains thus a more relaxed video for this one. We look forward to being back for the Spring Gala in April.
