Does Sevika have an arc? What role does she play in Arcane’s plot? In its themes? This character stays in the background and singlehandedly props up not just the plot, but one of Arcane’s protagonists as well, as no other character could (or would willingly choose to) do. This is a character who embodies the inferiority we see in the Undercity in a radically different form than characters like Vi, Jinx, Silco, or Viktor. What she embraces about that inferiority no one else does, and it’s her source of strength and her animosity towards characters like Vi and Jinx. All of this comes to a head in the finale episode in her epic fight with Vi.
