In today's video I put together an Easy Layercake + Panel Quilt.
Needed
1- Panel
1- 42 Piece Layercake
First Cut your Panel into Squares as seen in Video. I got 4- 7.5" squares and 4- 9.5" squares.
I replaced 4- 10" Squares for my 4 Smaller Panel Squares and attached 4 of the 2.5" x 7.5" and 2.5" x 10" rectangles
Then from Layercake
Cut off 2.5" x 10" rectangles
Turn rest of stack and
cut off 2.5" x 7.5" rectangles
Then take your leftover 7.5" and mix up as seen in Video.
Sew on the 7.5" x 2.5" to the 7.5" x 7.5" Square
Then turn and sew on to the other side the 2.5" x 10" rectangle.
Press and trim off extra 1/2"
Blocks should be 9.5" Square
Lay out in a 6 across x 7 down layout
and sew it up.
Finished Top is about 55" X 64"
