Today is a short video to share what I have made since the beginning of the new year. I had one fail and a couple of successes.
I purchased the In Complete Stitches Midnight Sun bag pattern kit from Beyond the Pink Door fabric shop. Andrea, the owner of the store, created a great tutorial. This was my second bag I have ever sewn, and it was more complex than the Noodlehead Pepin Tote that I sewed previously. I learned several new skills and absolutely love the finished make.

To complement the Midnight Sun bag, I sewed a matching makeup bag. I followed a tutorial by Tamlyn @SewnontheTyne . She created the tutorial for one of the Sew Hayley Jane magazines. It is available on the Sew Hayley Jane website as well. Another wonderful make!

Now, to the fail. I can not blame the pattern or the instructions. It was all errors on my part. I will still be able to wear the garment, but you'll understand why it is a fail if you watch this video. I made the Closet Core Pietra pants, version B, using a beautiful slate blue linen that I also purchased from Beyond the Pink Door.

I also share a crochet throw that I have worked on over the past few months. It is a beautiful throw and will feel nice and cozy.
I also share the new addition to our family. He belongs to my son, but Jubal has wound his way around all of our hearts. Well, except my dog, Pepper's heart. She is old and just wants to be left alone, and Jubal wants to play of course.
