Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday thanked the US leadership for arranging peace and hoped that it would mark a new beginning for the resolution of issues in the region. In his thank you speech specially mentioned China. He says, I want to thank Donald Trump, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Turkiye, Iran, and others for playing an important role in reaching a ceasefire and de-escalating the situation. He says, My speech today will be incomplete if I don't mention our most reliable friends, China. I want to thank China from the bottom of my heart. I thank the respected President and the people of China who have, for the past 58 years, stood by Pakistan. We hope that the international community will play a part in making critical issues, includingthe Indus Waters Treaty, be put on the table and resolved
