The Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Veda Shastra Poshaka Sabha, Tenali, conducted exams in Veda Shastras like Vyakarana, Tarka etc., Several candidates sat for the oral exam in front of a panel of three examiners. The exams were very obviously tough. The brightest students who made it were blessed by Their Holinesses and recognised as scholars with an award of a purse, a certificate of recognition and the gorgeous sequinned wooden shawl reserved for scholars. A truly wonderful moment.
