Wicked (2024) Full Movie Ending Scene Recap
The story begins in the Land of Oz, where the citizens of Munchkinland celebrate the death of the Wicked Witch of the West. Glinda the Good shares the Witch’s story, revealing her troubled childhood and rejection due to her green skin. Years earlier, Elphaba Thropp arrives at Shiz University, where she meets Galinda Upland (later Glinda). Despite their initial differences, they form an unlikely friendship.
As they navigate their studies, Elphaba discovers her magical abilities and becomes increasingly disillusioned with the Wizard’s regime, which exploits and oppresses the Animals. Glinda, meanwhile, is seduced by the Wizard’s power and popularity. Their friendship reaches a crossroads when Elphaba learns the truth about the Wizard’s manipulation and the Animals’ loss of rights and speech.
