Shed Facelift & Garden Updates
In this video, our well-worn shed finally gets the much-needed facelift it deserves! I tackle several jobs from the end-of-March list, including:
• Prepping and sowing our first carrots 🥕
• Turning and condensing the compost heaps on Plot 1
• Tidying up the greenhouse
• Planting our 2nd bed of onion sets—and ensuring they’re netted well to protect against the allium leaf minor
Peter and Paul, with guidance from Tricia, also got stuck in re-building the shed’s side that was badly rotted. They did a fantastic job, and we’re over the moon with the new look.
When a woodchip delivery arrives on our site, we drop everything to fetch it! I managed to cover several paths and the large area around our fruit bushes. This will help improve our footing for later fruit harvesting, once our fruit cage is up.
