I developed this pattern and fabricated several galvanized organizer bins 40 years ago as part of my Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Training.
In this step by step process you can develop your own pattern and with a few adjustments to the dimensions you will be able to customize these bins to fit your needs. Once you've completed the layout, cut it out and use it as the pattern to trace/scribe onto the material you choose to fabricate your organizer bins out of. I look forward to seeing pictures of your projects.
In this lesson I use all the tools and equipment available in our sheet metal shop for sake of time.
But if you watch our video: Sheet Metal is Fun! How to make a tool tray with hand tools, you can apply those skills to accomplish the Organizer Bins.
If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment, I will try to reply promptly.
