पहिला पाऊस झाला की रानभाज्यांच्या जोडीला अशी शेवळ ही बाजारात येतात. वर्षातून एकदाच तुम्ही ह्या भाजीचा आस्वाद घेऊ शकता. ते पण में महिन्याचा सुरुवातीला जून संपता संपता ह्या शेवळ भाजीचा सीजन देखील कमी होत जातो. शेवंळ अशी दिसायला लांबट कोम्बासारखी असतात. ती खूपच खाजरी असतात.शेवंळ सोबत छोटी फळही मिळतात त्यांना काकड म्हणतात. ती चवीला तुरट असतात. ती ह्या भाजीचा खाजरेपणा कमी करण्यासाठी वापरतात आणि त्यात चिंचेच पाणी टाकल की अहाहाहा .
