前泊の宿を出た私たちの次なる目的地は、なんと150kmも離れた山深い温泉地「四万温泉」！ ジブリ映画「千と千尋の神隠し」のモデルと言われ、今から300年以上前の元禄4年（1691年）に建てられた【積善館 本館】に超コスパで宿泊してきました ^o^ レトロで可愛いお部屋にワクワクしながら、「草津の上がり湯」の別名を持つ優しい泉質の自家源泉を100％使用した３つの温泉を巡ったり、歴史も学んで美しい建物のライトアップもしっかり堪能♪ 超コスパといえども、高級宿も持つ積善館のお料理は質素ながらも上品なお味で、上州名物の郷土料理をはじめお食事も大満足^o^ 帰りの道中ではお天気にも恵まれた四万温泉周辺の観光スポットも紹介し、ランチはあの群馬名物をいただいちゃいました♪ 美味しく楽しい秋の群馬旅楽しんでくださいね^o^
After leaving the lodgings we stayed at the night before, our next destination was Shima Onsen, a hot spring resort deep in the mountains, a whopping 150km away! We stayed at the Sekizenkan Main Building, which was built in 1691 (Genroku 4), over 300 years ago and is said to be the model for the Ghibli movie "Spirited Away," for a great value stay ^o^ We were excited by the cute retro rooms, toured three hot springs, learned about the history, and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful lighting of the building ♪ Even though it was a great value stay, the food at Sekizenkan, which also has luxury lodgings, was simple yet elegant, and we were very satisfied with the food, including the local cuisine of Joshu ^o^ On the way back, we also introduced tourist spots around Shima Onsen, and for lunch we had that Gunma specialty ♪ Please enjoy a delicious and fun autumn trip to Gunma ^o^
