It's the middle of winter and Lake Erie is a block of solid Ice. It is also the time of the year where ships of the Great Lakes go to Port and hibernate for the Winter.
This winter, the Ice has really taken a hold of Lake Erie, leaving the ships in Port incrusted in thick Ice.
Join me as I visit Port Colborne to take a look at the 3 ships that a laying up her for the winter.
Drone shots from above to give you a look at these great vessels of the great lakes.
Here in Port Colborne, we have CSL Thunder Bay and just in front of her is Algoma Sault.
Further up the canal, about a mile or so is the rusty bucket, Algoma Buffalo.
