Building a hall tree with storage for an entryway or a built in mudroom bench for your home starts here. We are using this hall tree in our entryway as shoe storage. I built this shiplap hall tree based on my wife's design. She wanted a mudroom bench with clean lines to give it a modern feel. We used faux shiplap on the wall, sanded birch plywood for the cabinet base and 1 by spruce material in this build. The fake shiplap adds to the uniqueness of this entryway piece.
