The Next-Gen Supersport class finally is here and in this comparison review, we put the 2025 Ducati Panigale V2, Yamaha YZF-R9, and Suzuki GSX-R750 head-to-head in a full-on comparison test. To thoroughly test these Supersport models, we put them on the Motorcycle.com dyno, road them on the street, and tested their performance at the racetrack! While the Ducati Panigale V2 and the Yamaha YZF-R9 are the hot new Next-Gen Supersports of 2025, the Suzuki GSX-R750 represents the old guard and a throwback to the way things used to be. Have we really moved the bar with these new players, or does the Suzuki still show the young pups who’s boss? Editor-in-Chief Ryan Adams, Senior Editor Nic de Sena, and Road Test Editor Troy Siahaan were the chosen testers, and in this comparison and review, they give you their true and honest thoughts on each bike to help you decide whether comfort-oriented sportbikes are the real deal, or if the tried-and-true supersport is still hard to beat. Which one comes out on top? Watch the video to find out! Shoutout to Pirelli for providing all three bikes with its Diablo Supercorsa V4 SP tire. Bringing racetrack technology developed from what Pirelli has learned in the World Superbike Championship to a DOT-legal street/track tire shows through. We chose the Supercorsa V4 SP specifically because it could handle our street testing as well as track duty, all without the need for tire warmers. Another shoutout to Volant Vivere Trackdays (www.volantvivere.com) for hosting the track portion of our test. Volant Vivere is committed to providing a quality track experience for all its attendees. Group sizes are kept low and track time is kept high to ensure you get the most for your money. And if that’s not enough, coaching, catered lunches, and photos are all included. It’s a true white-glove trackday experience. Last, but not least! A special thank you to Quadlock (www.quadlockcase.com) for sponsoring this video. Quadlock makes all types of mounts to securely place your phone and other electronic devices on cars, trucks, and yes, motorcycles, including sportbikes. Quadlock mounts are clutch, no matter where you ride. 🏁 Specs at a Glance: 🔹 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 💵 Price: $15,995 🏇 Rear Wheel Horsepower: 106.4 hp 🌀 Rear Wheel Torque: 65.1 lb-ft ⚖️ Measured Wet Weight: 419 lbs 🔹 2025 Suzuki GSX-R750 💵 Price: $13,149 🏇 Rear Wheel Horsepower: 121.7 hp 🌀 Rear Wheel Torque: 55.8 lb-ft ⚖️ Measured Wet Weight: 428 lbs 🔹 2025 Yamaha YZF-R9 💵 Price: $12,499 🏇 Rear Wheel Horsepower: 104.9 hp 🌀 Rear Wheel Torque: 64.9 lb-ft ⚖️ Measured Wet Weight: 431 lbs Visit Motorcycle.com to read the full story! - https://www.motorcycle.com/bikes/shoot-outs/shootout-2025-ducati-panigale-v2-vs-yamaha-yzf-r9-vs-suzuki-gsx-r750-44622937 Subscribe! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=Motorcycle YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/Motorcycle Facebook - http://facebook.com/MotorcycleCom Twitter - http://twitter.com/MotorcycleCom Web - http://www.Motorcycle.com Established in 1994, Motorcycle.com is the premier online resource for motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts.
