We're checking out this lower mileage vehicle with about 86,000 kms. We go over all the features and tech that you'd want to know about if you're in the market for a C219 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class. We also give thanks to Erol Cenk from AMG who hand built the 6.2L M156 AMG V8 engine which produces 507 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque when new. This specific car has had an ECU tune, resonator delete, and hi-flow catalysts installed, among some other changes to the vehicle. We discuss some of the common issues with the CLS-Class, the CLS63 AMG, and the M156 engine during our tour of the vehicle. We then take the 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG on the road to talk about how this car performs as a daily driver, some of the reasons you'd want to consider buying one in the current year, and things to look out for that could go wrong with these vehicles. We have the pleasure of doing some controlled launches, some donuts, and some start up and revs so you can get a great idea of what this car has to offer. We also discuss the interior design and features on this car. Based on the W211 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, sharing the same wheelbase and many interior elements, this car felt like the 2003 E 500 we drove many years ago. Features on this build include the P30 Performance Package, heated and ventilated front multi-contour seats, rear heated seats, 4 zone automatic climate control, rear sun shade, keyless Go, navigation, a harmon/kardon audio system, and more.
