श्री श्री रविशंकर के दावे के मुताबिक, ये अवशेष एक हजार साल पहले तोड़े गए सोमनाथ मंदिर के शिवलिंग के हैं. 1000 साल पहले सोमनाथ मंदिर को तोड़ा गया था. हमले में सोमनाथ मंदिर का शिवलिंग भी टूट गया था. शिवलिंग जमीन पर नहीं था, हवा में ही रहता था. टूटे शिवलिंग के टुकड़े को दक्षिण भारत के कुछ लोग लेकर चले गए थे.
