In this video, I showed two of my Shrimp with Broccoli in Garlic Sauce versions. The first version is the easiest and fastest to make. It took me around 12 minutes to complete it. The second took me 15 minutes to cook.
Version 1 Ingredients:
½ lb. shrimp, head and shell removed
1 ½ cups broccoli, blanched
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine
2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
8 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons sesame oil
½ cup water (for sauce)
4 cups water (for blanching)
3 tablespoons cooking oil
Version 2 Ingredients:
1 lb. shrimp, cleaned
1 ½ cups broccoli florets
1 bell pepper, sliced
3 cloves garlic. minced
1 onion, minced
2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
¾ cup water
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons cooking oil
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
