Morris had been living outside for at least a year, and could easily be mistaken for a feral cat. But after we trapped him for a TNR (trap neuter return) project, it was clear that he had lived indoors before. There are tons of shy cats like Morris hiding in the back of a shelter cage somewhere. They need to be in a calm, quiet environment with a patient caregiver to rediscover their confidence. These cats have a lot of love to give!
