Harvesting trees for saw logs or firewood doesn’t have to be complicated or need expensive equipment. Even if you don’t have a tractor, I have other videos showing how to do this with a pickup truck. This is an easy way to harvest logs for either firewood, sawmill, or other wood products. I am cleaning up and utilizing material that came from thinning my managed forest land. Some will be turned into firewood, some will be turned into lumber. The chainsaw is a Stihl MS 462. The tractor is a Massey Ferguson MF 30 MF 34 with a Farmi 501 logging winch.
