In this video I show 4 very simple Valentine's day cake ideas. I use buttercream and Chocolate cake to make the 4 Valentine's day mini cakes (link below). I put fresh fruit in two of the cakes, so they only last 2-3 days in the fridge, the other 2 cakes can last 1 week in the fridge. I have made these Valentine's day cakes very simple with few ingredients. On one of the cakes I make Chocolate Butterflies, they can be a bit difficult to make. You can easily decorate the cake with other things, small red roses or one of the many sweet decorations you can buy for Valentine's day. The round Valentine's day cake is with Ganache and when you pour the Ganache over the cake it should be a little cold and thick and runny so that a thick layer comes on. The Ganache that remains can be warmed up a little, poured into a bucket with baking paper and put in the fridge. When the ganache has set, you cut it into small pieces and turn it in Cocoa powder and then you have the most delicious little pieces of Chocolate.
