Lien Ying Chow - whose Chinese name contains 6 strokes of water, in Singapore, an island surrounded by water; this Teochew man became a legend in the 20th century by using his intelligence, wisdom, diligence, and love for learning. He travelled south to Singapore when he was 14 years old, started his own business at 21, and became the President of SCCCI when he was just 35. Lien Ying Chow was not only extraordinarily talented in business, but he also gave generously to the community. How exactly did he lead his life?
