I finally tackled the long-awaited project of assembling my kitchen island, bringing some much-needed organization to my space. Meanwhile, the maintenance man has been busy fixing the shower for the past week, and I’m hopeful that this is the week it will finally be completed. Sticking to my budget, I also discovered some great inexpensive items at Dollar Tree that added a nice touch to my home. Of course, I had my kids around, and life is always on "Dad time."
