Singer Sivasri Skandaprasad is a familiar face for fans of devotional and classical music, but the singer recently added another facet to her personality: film music. She sang a track for AR Rahman in the 'Ponniyin Selvan' original soundtrack. Sivasri, who has trained in both dance and music, also runs a music school Ahuti and says that art has to be made simpler to reach more people. She says, "I want to remove all bifurcations that exist between genres of Indian music."
