On May 1st 2025, the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced the permanent closure of Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. At the end of the 2025 operating season, the park will shut its doors for good. We'll discuss why this closure is taking place, what will happen to the rides in the park, and what it will mean for the company going forward.
