Video Not Working? Fix It Now

I take you through a master study exercise I use in my sketchbook sessions. The drawing took 1 hr - but I’ve sped up a little to make watching easier. Artwork: The Young Shepherdess by William-Adolphe Bouguereau (there’s a few digital versions out there but I picked a particularly dark/muted version I liked). The original is hanging in the San Diego Museum of Art. And I realised after posting the video Bouguereau is pronounced Boo-ger-row not Ber-juh-row I kept using. Oops. Forgive me for my mangling 😂 Links - Sketchbook exercises including warm ups: https://youtu.be/mjkBZcs9_1Y - The app I use to overlay the pictures: overlay cut out photo editor https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/overlay-cut-out-photo-editor/id827506435 Equipment: - blackwing matte pencil and sharpener (but any pencil is fine) - eraser - I love a tombow mono zero and a kneaded eraser - smudging - paper stump, beauty blender (~$2 from any pharmacy/makeup store) - sketchbook - moleskine art book Key moments: - initial sketch: 00:00 - check likeness: 02:30 - refine outlines: 04:41 - block in tones: 06:46 - refining: 08:19 - finished drawing: 15:31 Music: Almost in F - Tranquillity by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1100394 Artist: http://incompetech.com/
