Skoda Fabia 1.2 TDI 2012 ERG and Turbo clean to clear warning light and fault code

My Skoda Fabia TDI started to display a warning light, having run the diagnostic its turn out to be the ERG and Turbo. Having had a quote it would have cost £800 - £950 to replace. I found cleaning it addressed the issue. While open it is easy to replace the airfilter and the clear out the airflow valve.
