Slade’s Noddy Holder, Jim Lea, Dave Hill & Don Powell discuss ’Merry Christmas Everybody’.

The members of British rock group Slade discuss their immense hit record ‘Merry Christmas Everybody’ which is now 50 years since its release in 1973. The record entered the charts at number one, their third record that had entered the charts in the number one position. Only the Beatles had previously achieved this. The biggest UK singles selling band of the 1970s, Slade went on to have a total of six number one hit records.
