Pattern Making Basics: Sleeve styles part 1: In this video I mostly used a pattern making technique called SLASH AND SPREAD. It is used to give volume to a certain garment and also to give more style on any patterns. And of course in this tutorial we have 4 complete Pattern Making lessons for; Circular Sleeve - from the word circle, yes it’s like the circle skirt but for the sleeve. This sleeve mostly used on blouses, wedding gowns etc... Bell Sleeve - probably one of my favorites. It’s a sleeve shaped like a bell. I professionally used this for my clients who want to hide their arms. Lantern Sleeve - a sleeve shaped like a lantern, perfect for street wear designs, avant gardistes etc... And the Bishop Sleeve - this sleeve is mostly popular now for wedding gowns and couture garments, it was invented long time ago and I am glad this sleeve came back and now widely used for RTW fast fashion companies like Zara, H&M etc... There will be a part 2 or more for the Sleeve Styles. I just can’t fit that much of lessons in 25 mins y’all.
