Part 2 - Slit Lamp Illumination Techniques here: https://youtu.be/kv_D7BdOqfs
A Film on How We Made This Video on a Budget - https://youtu.be/02XgEcxO7F0
Unfortunately, we are currently unable t give junior doctors/medical students/optometrist/nurses a face-to-face hands on tutorial on using a slit lamp due to COVID rules on social distancing.
This video gives a basic introduction to the Slit Lamp Eye Examination. I will be going over the basic functions of a slit lamp and talking you through the systematic approach to examining the anterior segment of the eye.
Keep in mind that this is a practical skill and this video is an adjunct – so after you have watched the video I strongly recommend heading down to your clinical skills area in pairs to practice in person in a safe manner.
Enjoy!
