Hello and welcome back to my slow living vlog. This week I'm organising my embroidery floss, sewing the finishing touches to my appliqué swan quilt, and making Scottish oatcakes.
If you're new to my channel, hi! My name is Stéphanie and Eighteen and Cloudy is my slow living vlog. Here on my weekly slow living vlog I share slow and simple stories from my everyday life including the recipes I make, the food and flowers I grow in my city garden, and the craft projects I work on.
I'm an introvert and a homebody in my late 30s. I love old fashioned heritage crafts and making things with my hands, and I love sharing snippets from my everyday life here on my channel. My life is very ordinary, and this channel is a place to celebrate the minutiae of everyday life, slow progress on projects that bring me joy, and seasonal comings and goings as I try to carve out a quiet space in my little corner of the city.

My oatcakes recipe:
225g oats
60g wholemeal flour
60g margarine
1/8 tsp sea salt
75ml warm water
Combine the ingredients into a stiff dough, roll it out, stamp out rounds, then bake the oatcakes at 180C (350F) for about 25 minutes, turning them half way through so that they brown evenly.
