hello, hello! i’m excited to share with you my first ever vlog which features the most random, laidback, and chill Siquijor trip! we didn't have much itineraries and plan for this trip, so we really enjoyed this slow travel. please let me know in the comments if you also like doing this kind of travels? special thanks to mae, dan, and niz for making this travel experience special. x #siquijor #travel #philippines #beach #traveldestinations #nature #slowtravel #slowliving #vacation #aesthetic ******** Travel Date: October 2024 ITINERARY: Day 1: - MNL to Siquijor Day 2: - Balete Tree Fish Spa - Hapitanan - Lazi Church - Cambugahay Falls - La Canopee Day 3: - Pitogo Cliff - Kawayan Holiday Resort - Lady of Divine Providence Church, Maria - Salagdoong Beach Day 4: - Shaka Restaurant - Paliton Beach Day 5: - Siquijor to Manila Resort: Fig Sunset View Resort (5d4n) Total Expenses: Php17,000/person *Disclaimer: This was a random trip so airline tix costed Php5k (rt), while we spent almost Php9k (2k+/person) on dinners from the Fig Resort since we didn’t go out much in the evenings. Food per person ranged from 5-6k (we loved eating and we really spoiled ourselves in this vacation break). You can spend Php10k, excluding airfare, for probably 3d2n if you're on a budget. Siquijor is not expensive unlike other famous Ph tourist destinations. ******** SIQUIJOR TRAVEL TIPS: 1. Poor WIFI connection in a lot of areas, including the resort we stayed at, so make sure you bring a pocket WIFI with you if you’re planning to work from vacation. Cellular data/phone signal is stable though in San Juan. 2. Bring cash to pay for everything since internet connection is often an issue, online banking/gcash/maya,etc. will be a problem. Fig Resort has an ATM, but I suggest you withdraw cash from the airport/seaport just in case. 3. Wear aqua shoes to the beaches. The beaches we went to don't really have fine sands. 4. There is no night life here, every restaurants and bars close at 9pm, so if you want night life, Siquijor may not be for you. But if you want to reconnect with the nature and yourself, go on slow travel like we did, you will enjoy this place. 5. There's not much insects, bugs, or mosquitoes we encountered on this trip, but just bring a mosquito/insect repellant with you just in case.
