We raised 4 chickens earlier last year. As they grow older and are ready for egg production, the need for a proper chicken coop arises. Luckily, my partner, a licensed architect, was excited to jump in. We designed and built a, I would say quite unconventional and modern, chicken coop that fits in our backyard and the overall planning of the outdoor space. This video documented the whole process, from design thinking, planning, schemes, to the building process, essential components integration (water system, feeder, nesting box, storage, etc.), and maintenance.
