There’s a reason the VW Transporter is so popular,
Could it be its looks?
Could it be its excellent drive?
Could it be its ability to be customised?
Could it be its build quality?
Could it be how well it’s supported from the aftermarket companies?
It’s probably all of those things and more.
The Transporter in its current platform has been with us for 20 years now and although its replacement is on the horizon these make a great van for every day use. Especially when converted into a camper van or day van to use to support your hobbies or weekend pursuits.
In fact in 2018 we sold our car and bought our first T5. Bought to use for the commute and weekend pleasure this van soon became very close to our hearts. We used it for holidays, trips to see family, extra space when friends stayed over, weekend hobbies and so much more. We’d had VW Camper vans before but nothing you could use every day.
It had two interiors, from the original cheap and cheerful set up to the final totally bespoke magazine featured van that we loved so much.
So what’s the point of all this ramble? Well…. I believe you only need one vehicle to do everything and that is a Transporter.
Small enough to use to commute and park in a normal car park space, big enough that the family can go camping at the weekend, practical enough to transport everything from bikes and kayaks to household trips to the tip or DIY centre! This van can do it all.
With the right layout you can do all of the above with complete ease. And if you need to take more people we have a solution for that too, see our GTI build for a four seat, four berth van.
Come and join us for a tour of what we believe is the only vehicle you need, built to the highest standards and with the most storage and biggest bed it could just do everything you want?
