Farm Viruksha and Agribusiness Tamil in association with StartupTN proudly presented a webinar on "Integrated Banana Farming" by Thiru C Shanmugasundaram, President, Integrated Banana Growers Federation, Erode.
The session covered the new technology that the farmer adopted in his banana field which is giving tremendous yield, enriching the soil when compared to normal methods. He has done extensive research in Banana and implemented this regenerative technnique and he is doing yearly 3 times harvest in one time planting. Through this method, he is planting 1000 plants and generating 50 tonnes of banana in per acre. In addition to that, he is doing smart Integrated farming with fish, poultry, duck, goat. He is using this enriched manure water along with panchakavya, meen amilam, Dasagavya as a manure to banana plants.
