I finally got my hands on a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 and it is everything I expected it to be: an AR15 chambered in .22 LR... There are a lot of good reasons to own an AR15 chambered in .22 cal. It is perfect for cheap training, introducing new shooters to the controls and ergonomics of the AR platform, etc...
