Step by Step!
Today we'll be looking at an Ariens 7hp 24" Snowblower
Model: 932035
My customer dropped it off & said that it wouldn't shift & would drive in whatever gear it wanted to.
Turns out a worn friction wheel axle bushing caused the axle to move in a direction it wasn't supposed to, which allowed the shift fork to slip off.
We replace the friction wheel, axle bearing & bushing & shim the axles with thrust washer, to take up the extra play.
Parts;
Bushing: Oregon 45-008 or Ariens 55110
Bearing: 1621-2RS or Ariens 05408000
Friction Wheel: STENS 240-068 or Ariens 03248300
