One of the first videos I filmed for this channel, was a Selene 43 trawler yacht that was for sale with Mark Zeigler Yacht Sales. This trawler blew my mind and to date, has well over 150,000 views!! When Mark called me up and said he now had a Selene 47 for sale, I jumped at the chance to take a look!!
This trawler is an extremely capable blue water cruiser with approximately 2,000 mile range at around 9 – 10 knots. The boat is powered by a single diesel engine that has less than 2,000 hours on the clock and has a diesel generator with less than 1,500 hours listed. This one is capable of cruising offshore in comfort thanks to the solid design as well as having stabilizers installed, but is just as comfortable and capable cruising more sheltered waters tackling the Great Loop.
