Solo crossing from Florida to Bahamas on a $2,000 small boat

I am happy to kickoff this new season of videos with this newest Summer video! In this video I buy an old sailboat, find an even older 2 stoke outboard engine and build the ultimate Florida to Bimini Bahamas expedition skiff boat! The end result was a boat that could float in skinny water and hang with the shallowest skiff boats around. This boat can run in 1 ft of water and float in about 6" of water. Max speed of 26 mph and cruising speed of 18-19 mph. Fuel economy of about 2.5 mpg fully loaded @ 19 mph.
