For the second technical deep dive, my patrons selected Encircle (2022) as the piece they wanted analysed. This piece presented some really unique challenges for me as I'd never attempted such a large but also intricate tree before. In this video, you can see how it took awhile to figure out what the ideal process was for creating the tree and then how that process developed as the canopy progressed.
