1. Record a voice memo of random chords and melodies
2. Finalize melody and structure
3. refine lyrics
4. record a demo track with piano and voice
5. Start to record tracks in Logic Pro and devise a "feel" for the song.
6. Experiment with instrumentation and beats and style
