The PC version of 3D Blast also had unique Special Stages. They're another version of the half-pipe ones, different from the ones on Saturn. But I really can't be bothered to hunt down a PC copy of the game just for those. They do not look good. You can look up a video of them yourself if you're curious.
Another cool thing I didn't mention is that Sonic 3D Blast prominently features Flickies. And the goal of the game is to gather them in an area and deposit them to a certain location. Which is the exact same idea as what is in the game Flicky. So in a way, 3D Blast is a sequel to Flicky.
And how bout the 3D model of Sonic I used for the thumbnail? I found that while digging around for old Sonic art from Jam. It is by far the best 3D model of Sonic they had back in the day. Way better than the awful one they used for 3D Blast and such. But I think it was made later.
Here's a link to a spreadsheet I put together compiling all of my Sonic recommendations.
