I fell in love with Tenchu on PS1 in the lates 90's, which spurred my interest and passion for ninja, samurai and fuedal Japan in general! I always wanted to try this game back in the day because of Tenchu, but I never got the chance, and it just got lost in time. I forgot about it. Only until recently did I rediscover and play it for the first time. I noticed some striking similarities to Resident Evil, but even more so to the PS2 Onimusha series which made me think, "is this Onimusha before Onimusha?". So how does this forgotten PS1 hack n' slash game compare to Onimusha, Tenchu and even Resident Evil? Grab some sake, sushi and let's roll!
