Sound deadening can be very important, especially when creating a super-thin van floor, which is excellent if you are tall like me. My van is roughly 2 meters in height, and I am 1.95 meters tall, leaving me with only 5 centimeters of clearance. Being able to stand straight is very important, so I decided to create the thinnest insulated flooring I could, and in this video, I will show you how I did it. - Material used in this video 1: Sound Deadening (4 sqm) 2: 13 mm Armaflex Insulation(6 sqm) 3: Beams (10mm thik) 4: Subfloor (Plywood 12mm thik) ➡️ Click Here To Watch More Videos: https://www.youtube.com/@OneRoad92?sub_confirmation=1 - About Me I'm Mats from Sweden, and I've sold my house to embark on a journey in my self-built van. This decision was sparked by a pivotal moment when I hit the wall. Now, follow me as I navigate the process of constructing, living, and driving across Europe in my van, sharing the highs and lows of this extraordinary experience.
