Sound deadening can be very important, especially when creating a super-thin van floor, which is excellent if you are tall like me. My van is roughly 2 meters in height, and I am 1.95 meters tall, leaving me with only 5 centimeters of clearance. Being able to stand straight is very important, so I decided to create the thinnest insulated flooring I could, and in this video, I will show you how I did it.
- Material used in this video
1: Sound Deadening (4 sqm)
2: 13 mm Armaflex Insulation(6 sqm)
3: Beams (10mm thik)
4: Subfloor (Plywood 12mm thik)
