John Brown's Waverley and Western Railroad is a HO Scale model railroad based on the Southern Pacific during the decades of the 1970s and 1980s, with connections to both the Western Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads. Trains from other railroads such as Santa Fe also appear, as well as a few surprises when guest operators are in attendance. Construction began in 2006 and the layout was fully operational in 2011. The layout style is balloon loop to balloon loop with various stations and passing loops in between, along with two branchlines. The layout is DC only, and is situated in Australia. Trains are operated to a sequential timetable. No fast clock, no bells or buzzers or radios, but there is plenty of scope for "extras".
